One day, Danny asked the company secretary to submit an application letter to the boss on his behalf. The next day, Danny saw his boss’s handwriting short note “Go a head” beneath his letter. Danny started to pack his luggage immediately, but before he left his office to the airport, the secretary stopped him.
” Where are you going?” ask the secretary.
Danny replied, “Yea, meeting in Europe!”
Secretary asked again, “You got approval from the boss?”
Danny replied, “Didn’t you see the boss has said ‘Go a head’?”
Secretary replied,” You’ve been working here for so long, yet you don’t realize our boss’s standard of English? The boss really means ‘Go your head! ’”
Danny just kept silence.
老板的英文
一天，大宝请秘书转呈公文给老板，表示因公事需要立即出国一趟。隔天见老板在公文后面短短签下“Go a head”。大宝收到批示后，马上着手整理行李，没想到出发时却被秘书拦了下来。
秘书：“你要去哪里？”
大宝：“去欧洲开会啊！”
秘书：“老板有同意吗？”
大宝：“老坂不是说‘Go a head’吗？”
秘书：“你在公司这么久，难道你还不了解老板的英文程度吗？老板的意思是：‘去个头’啦！“
大宝：“………”
